Stone setting is the final step that brings a piece of jewelry to life. A perfectly cut diamond means nothing if it's set crooked, loose, or with visible tool marks around it. Our setters work under magnification with precision gravers, beading tools, and burnishers to place every stone exactly where it belongs — level, tight, and clean.
We set everything from single solitaire diamonds to full pavé surfaces with hundreds of melee stones. We work with diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, cubic zirconia, and any other gemstone material. If your CAD file specifies stone sizes and positions, we match them exactly. If you need help selecting stones, we source them through our network in Bangkok's gem district.
The classic setting style. Four or six prongs grip the stone's girdle, allowing maximum light entry. We shape each prong individually for even pressure and a clean, symmetrical look.
A metal rim surrounds the stone completely. Extremely secure and protective — ideal for active wearers. We push the bezel wall over the stone with controlled pressure for a flush, even edge.
Rows of small stones set close together, held by tiny beads of metal raised from the surface. Creates a continuous sparkling surface. Requires precise seat drilling and bead raising.
Stones sit in a channel between two metal walls with no prongs between them. Clean, modern look popular for wedding bands and eternity rings. Stones must be precisely sized and matched.
Stone sits level with the metal surface. A recessed seat is drilled, the stone is dropped in, and surrounding metal is pushed over the girdle. Sleek, low-profile result.
Stones appear to float with no visible metal holding them. Grooves cut into the stone's pavilion lock into a metal rail system underneath. The most technically demanding setting technique.
Diamonds: Round brilliant, princess, cushion, oval, pear, marquise, emerald cut, and all fancy shapes. Melee diamonds from 0.8mm up. Natural and lab-grown.
Colored Gemstones: Sapphires, rubies, emeralds, tanzanite, tourmaline, garnet, amethyst, topaz, and more. We adjust setting technique based on stone hardness and sensitivity.
Alternative Materials: Cubic zirconia, moissanite, synthetic stones, and lab-created gems. Same setting precision regardless of material value.
Stone Sourcing: Need stones? We source through Bangkok's gem trading district at competitive prices. We match your specifications for size, color, clarity, and cut.
